I think my favourite city from the last month (from Barcelona, Dublin, London and Prague) has to be Barcelona .

The art, architecture, food (cheese, wine & cured meats) climate, people, sea, sand, pavement, street art... the list goes on.

Completing my 4 cities tour is Dublin. Aside from the Temple Bar based festivities(!) my favourite highlight was Francis Bacon's reconstructed studio at the Hugh Lane gallery . His studio was just an extension of his work, I've always found his working methods fascinating.

I also noticed a bin with my name on it... (See the last photo)

Barcelona is probably one of the most amazing cities I've been to - (or was it the company...?)

Having already done Prague and London this month and with Dublin to come on the final weekend of Christmas, don't be expecting any Christmas presents this year...

Saw the Rothko exhibition at Tate modern last weekend and very good it was too. I particularly enjoyed the section about his techniques and use of paint .

It took great knowledge and skill to produce what he did and make it look so simple.
