Tonight the band had its début gig at Lighthouse, Poole.

We played an improvised set, we did okay...

Afterwards somebody said 'Where were you? Did you turn up late?'

It took a while before I confessed 'I was playing the Bass'.

'Oh sorry I'm a bit short sighted.'

Nobody remembers the bassist...

Next gig I'm wearing nothing but tinsel.

...and I've never felt this way...

Tonight was the wave rebrand launch party at The Study Gallery.

It's a project that I've been working on with the wave team for a year. Like any project it's had its ups and downs, but essentially it's been the strength of vision everyone has had that has resulted in this . It's a privilege to work with people who have such high standards, yet anything goes.

Not many designers get to cart giant polystyrene letters around the locality in a 70's VW camper van.

 

Am I too old to start breakdancing?

This weekend, after trading for a year and a half with a website that only has a holding page - I decided to lock myself in the office, turn off the mobile and not come out until I've chiseled the contents of my brain into some sort of presentable website pulp.

On separate, but probably related news- I just found that one of my eyebrows has grown to about 3 cm.

I don't remember it being that long before I started this project.
