This design is for Activate's annual report for 2006 & mid 2007. The content had to reflect that time frame, so the images used had to be prior to a lot of events that had already happened.

This precluded a lot of juicy images from events such as the inside out festival, I tried to sneak one in , but they're too vigilant at Activate.

The wave arts education newsletter arrived in the post today; this is the very first one since we completed the re-brand .

The brief for the design of the newsletter template was a document that was clear, branded, created in-house and set up for litho print.

We produced the newsletter by creating a template in MS Word; this was so that the content and images could be altered by wave.

The template was only half the job, anyone who has tried to produce a good looking document in word will know how difficult it is, and Louisa at wave has done an excellent job. I’m very proud. Click here to view it.

It was worth all the hard work (and the ‘Pantone Orange 021C’ cup they gave me as a memento of the work.)
