Bossa Nova World

The Roman civilization built things of amazing beauty.  Even mundane things such as public conveniences were intricately crafted.

At what point in the development of our civilization did we lose this?

Why is it now acceptable to play a repetitive Bossa Nova beat down the phone when you’re on hold?

All these moments are taken away from our daily lives when they could be filled with musical wonder. (Not of the Stevie kind)

Skating

It was the Hubalicious Christmas/New Year outing yesterday, we decided to go skating at the B.I.C.

Skating is pretty weird when you think about it... I cackled like a loon all the way round.
