I felt this last night.

Usually the building shakes when a truck goes by, but there weren't no truck!

I'm finding more and more recently that I'm creating promo images for the events I'm designing for.

It's usually so there's some sort of graphic to be added to copy. They could be for press releases , websites or brochures .

It usually means thinking on your feet as you have to turn around an image at the time of receiving the brief, sometimes with little to work on.

Either that or go stand on top of a Multi story car park in a growbag .

Here's a couple of promo images I created for homegrown, activate's performing arts showcase taking place on July 4th.

I painted a picture tonight for the first time in a year.

I spent most of it chasing dudu's (Swahili for insects) around the canvas.*

It's probably no good (doo doo), the sun went down before I could see what I'd done.

*No insects were harmed.
